Sharon R. Bauer, 82, a resident of the Belmond Community Apartments, died Feb. 14, 2021 at the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond. No services are planned at this time.   

Sharon Rae, daughter of Howard F. and Mabel L. (Hendricks) Luft, was born Jan. 1, 1939 in Plover. She grew up in Pocahontas. In 1957 she married Dallas Bauer. They lived in various places throughout northern Iowa and later divorced. She worked in Clear Lake and Mason City until her retirement in 2012.   

Sharon is survived by her children Howard Bauer of Belmond, Retha (Dennis) Gould of Newcastle, NE, Bret (Kelley) Bauer of Sheffield, and Krista (Greg) Rogahn of Clarence. She was preceded in death by daughters Dawn Danette Swanson and Jinger Jo Bauer.
