Maude Mary March, 94, died at her home in Moberly, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 24, 1997. Graveside services were held Saturday, June 28, at St. John's Cemetery in Clarion. Father Wayne Droessler officiated. Willim Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Maude Mary Messer was born February 7, 1903, [in Laurens, Iowa] the daughter of Earl Dallas and Lillian Mae Krug Messer. On November 19, 1923, she was married to Herman H. March in Wright County. They lived at Moberly, Missouri, and owned March Sheet Metal. He died October 30, 1974. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Moberly, Missouri.

Survivors include four sisters - Alice Mellecker and Leone McClelland, both of Clarion; Frances Thomason of Ames; Violet Bradford of Des Moines; several nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, and three brothers preceded her in death.
