William S. Brady
1 January 1873 ---- 14 October 1936

Dows - William S. Brady, 63, died Wednesday at his home after a brief illness. Born January 1, 1873 in New York City, he came to Dows when 17. He was a rural mail carrier out of Dows for the last 23 years. He was married to Miss Viola Severs, who survives. He leaves three children: Mrs. J. M. Rowan of Hampton, Mrs. H. H. Hunter of Story City and Ray Brady of Webster City.

The funeral was held at the Presbyterian Church Friday afternoon, the Rev. R. A. Brough preaching. The burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
