Miller Albert Amonson
20 January 1902 ---- 4 February 1961

Miller Albert Amonson, son of Sevan and Martha Amonson, was born in Wright County on Jan. 20, 1902 and passed away at his home in Eagle Grove on Feb. 4, 1961. He attended country school in Wright County and spent his active years as a farmer until 1949 when he moved to Eagle Grove where he has been employed by the Consumers Co-operative Association.

On Dec. 4, 1924 he married Ellen Larson. They became the parents of one daughter, Elaine, Mrs. E1don Anderson of Des Moines. Mr. Amonson was a member of the Methodist Church in Eagle Grove.

Surviving are his wife and daughter and three grandchildren. Also, one brother, Omer Amonson and two sisters: Mrs. Wendell Johnson of Kanawha and Mrs. Delbert Hunt of Aberdeen, S.D.; and several nieces and nephews. His parents and one brother, Martin Amonson preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Kastler Funeral home in charge of Rev. Roy Cox. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
