Clifford Henry Bobst, 71, died suddenly at his home west of Eagle Grove Friday following a heart attack.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sandvig Funeral home in charge of Rev. Bernard Olson. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Bobst lived on the farm formerly occupied by the Kenneth Thompson family.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Merlin of Alexander and one daughter, Mrs. Palmer Thompson of Eagle Grove, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, also three brothers and six sisters, Albert Bobst of Dougherty, Fred Bobst of St. Charles and Leslie Bobst ot Alexander; Mrs. Thos. Borland, Mrs. John Kew of Sheffield; Mrs. Mary Jungest of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Eric Kelland of Sharon, Wis.; Mrs. Lawrence Smallridgc of Clear Lake and Miss Rosella Bobst of Hampton.

Mr. Bobst was born Jan 15, 1894 in Hampton and attended school in Alexander. He was married to Mae Grace Iehl, on Jan. 3, 1917 in Clarion. They farmed near Alexander until 1938 and he later was employed by the DuPont Co. in several states. He served in the Navy during World War I. Eighteen years ago he purchased a motel and trailer camp at Hot Springs, Mont, and retired in 1964 and moved here.
