Born in Bancroft, Iowa Marlys loved to dance with her loving husband, Earnest {Helm]. The license plate bracket on their car reads "country, polka, ballroom, we live to dance". Nothing pleased her more then being surrounded by her family. She loved taking pictures of family and dancing friends and made sure everyone received copies.

She is survived by her husband, Earnest Helm of Hemet; daughters, Judy Westfall of Petaluma, Mary Rodriguez of Hemet; son, Steve Caldwell of Hemet; grandchildren, Mike Westfall, Wendy Nolan and Jonathan Westfall, all of Petaluma, Erin Garrett of Hemet, Timothy Rodriguez Jr. of San Jacinto, David Caldwell of Hemet, Lynsie Caldwell of Hemet; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Connor, MacKenzy, Josh, Haley, Alexis and Elizabeth; great-great-grandchild, Deslyn; brother, Bob Schneider of Ft. Mohave, AZ.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Golden Village Palms R.V. Park, 3600 W. Florida Ave., in Hemet on Sat., Aug. 7th, at 2pm.
