Funeral services for Mary Emeline Ingebritson, 96, were held from First Lutheran Church in Dows on Tuesday, April 21 at 11 a.m. Pastors Tom and Debi Hankins officiated and burial was in Tom Oleson Cemetery, Franklin County. Elledge Funeral Home of Dows was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Alma Gardalen was the organist. Casketbearers were Jeff Buchanan, Neilan and Norman Hanson, Eric and Douglas Hanson and George Warren.

Mary Ingebritson died Friday, April 17, 1992 at Clarion Community Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since April 14.

She was born in Iowa Falls on November 23, 1895 to Perry and Maria Gorder Reynolds. She grew up in Iowa Falls and received her education in the Hardin County Schools. On February 11, 1914 she was united in marriage to E. Daniel Ingebritson in Hampton. After their marriage they farmed around the Dows area and in the early 60sretired from farming and moved into Dows. On September 4, 1978 her husband died.

On July 2, 1990 Mary entered the Dows Care Center and remained there until she was admitted to the Clarion Hospital.

Survivors include two sons: Raymond of Ackley and Howard of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five daughters. Evelyn Hanson of Dows, Bernice Hammond of Waterloo, Wilma Dotseth of Rogers, Arkansas, Miriam Lewis of Granite Falls, Minnesota and Shirley Weiss of Arleta, California. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and one sister: Bessie Fuller of Yountville, California.

Her parents, husband, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 2 sons and 1 granddaughter preceded her in death.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, FLCW, Senior Citizens, various church circles. Royal Neighbors of America and Trident Club.
