DOWS – Services for Daniel Ingebritson, 83, of Dows, who died Monday at Hampton Nursing Home in Hampton, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lutheran Church in Dows; burial in Tom Olson Cemetery near Dows; he was a retired a farmer in the area; survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Donald of Des Moines, Raymond of Geneva, and Howard of Albuquerque, N.M.; five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Hanson of Dows, Mrs. Bernice Hammond of Waterloo, Mrs. Wilma Dotseth of Harbor City, Calif., Miriam Lewis of Granite Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Shirley Weiss of Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Irving of Seattle, Wash. Friends may call at Willim Funeral Home in Dows.

Funeral services for Dan Ingebritson, 83, of Dows, were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 1978 at the First Lutheran Church in Dows.

The Rev. Harold McMillin officiated and burial was in the Tom Oleson Cemetery. He died Monday, September 4, 1978 at the Hampton Nursing Home.

He was born November 13, 1894 in Franklin County, Iowa, the son of Ever and Ellen Ellingson Ingebritson. He was raised and educated in Dows and has farmed the area his entire life.

He was united in marriage to Mary Reynolds on February 11, 1914 in Hampton. He was baptized and confirmed at Otis Grove and was a member of the 1st Lutheran Church in Dows.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, 3 sons, Donald of Des Moines, Raymond of Geneva, Howard of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Evelyn) Hanson of Dows, Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Hammond of Waterloo, Mrs. Irving (Wilma) Dotseth of Harbor City. California; Mrs. Roger (Miriam) Lewis of Granite Falls, Minnesota and Mrs. Louis (Shirley) Weiss of Los Angeles, California. Also surviving is one brother, Irving, of Seattle, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters and one child in infancy.

The William Funeral Home in Dows had charge of arrangements.
