Thrieulia Mae “Tinker” Johnston Heslop
14 May 1918 --- 23 December 2001

Thrieulia "Tinker" Mae Heslop died on Sunday, December 23, 2001, at the Rotary Ann Home in Eagle Grove, at the age of 83.

Survivors include three children: Edward Heslop, Salina, Kan., Judy Nine, Warsaw, Mo, and Sandra Nine, Sedalia, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 5 great-greatgrandchildren; one sister, Helen Hill, Eagle Grove; and two brothers, Jim Shaw, Goldfield, Iowa, and Robert Shaw, Clarion. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Lois Heslop; and one sister, Patricia Strait.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be at a later date.

Thrieulia Mae Johnston, the daughter of William and Mary Bernadine Taylor Johnston, was born May 14, 1918, at Moorland, Iowa. She attended schools in Eagle Grove where she also received training as a certified medical aid. She was married to Edward Heslop who died in 1978 and later to Marion C. Baker who died in 1983. She worked for Rotary Ann Nursing Home as a Med Aid for 7 years and for Wilson and Company as a supervisor for over 10 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove.
