Minna Elizabeth Jones, daughter of J. R. and Rebecca Jones, was born October 7, 1870, in Cole county, Illinois and died at her home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, March 14, 1935, after a lingering illness. She had attained the age of 64 years, 5 months and 7 days.

She grew to womanhood in Illinois and in 1894 came with her parents to Goldfield, Iowa, where she met Aaron E. Albee with whom she was united in marriage on September 8, 1897. To them were born four children, two sons and two daughters, all of whom survive.

On March 1st, 1900, she moved with her family to Hardy, where she resided for twenty years. From there she moved to Eagle Grove, where she lived until her death.

Early in life she confessed Christ as her Saviour and united with the Methodist church. She has found this faith a great comfort in these months of her lingering illness. She was patient all through her suffering and left testimony as she approached the end that she was ready to go to meet her Saviour.

She leaves her loved ones saddened in her going but comforted in her Christian faith. She is survived by her beloved husband and four children, Wayne of Eagle Grove, Richard of Renwick, Elva and Mrs. Paul Van Arsdale of Eagle Grove. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. J. R. Jones of Goldfield, and three sisters, Mrs. W. I. Baird of Jamaica, Ill., Mrs. Will Kelling of Ceylon, Minn., and Mrs. Ray Griffith of Goldfield, also five brothers, Howard, Will, Walter, and Ray of Goldfield and Everett of Los Angeles, Calif. One brother Ernest, preceded her in death. She also leaves eight grandchildren and a host of friends who mourn her passing.

The funeral was held from the Wilson Funeral Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. W. L. Breaw, pastor of the Methodist church. Interment was in Goldfield cemetery.
