THOR

Last rites were conducted Monday afternoon at the Ullensvang Lutheran church at Thor for Mrs. L. G. Larson, 64, who passed away at her home east of Thor on September 4 of coronary thrombosis. Rev. Olaf O. Brandt officiated and during the services sang "In The Garden". Other music was provided by a ladies sextet.

Nannie I. Helleland, daughter of the late Arne Helleland and Laura, Middleton, was born in Troy township near Eagle Grove on August 29, 1888. She attended the township schools and graduated from Eagle Grove high school.

On September 29, 1909, she was united in marriage with L. G. Larson of Eagle Grove and their only son, Leslie Hershel Larson, of Eagle Grove, survives her. Other survivors include her husband, two grandchildren and a foster brother, Andrew Smith, of Wray, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister who died in childhood.

Final rites for Mrs. Larson were at the Thor Lutheran church Monday, September 8 with burial at Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove. Casket bearers were Palmer Larson, Guy Larson, Albert Larson, Vernon Rogness, James Young, Jr. and Kenneth Mickelson.
