Linda Mary Longley of Sanger, California, 73, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, January 22, 1965.

She was born May 4, 1891 at Schaller, Iowa. She left Dows 44 years ago. She had taught school in Morgan Township.

The daughter of Herman and Bertha Lemke Damerow, she was married to Klemme Longley November 29, 1917 at Dows.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: a daughter (Margaret Jean) Mrs. Keith Sherman of Naples, Italy; two sons: Klemme Longley of Kansas City, Missouri and Kendall Longley of Sacramento, California. The following brothers and sisters survive: Wesley Damerow of Cloves, California; Mrs. Esther Moore of Lincoln, Nebraska and (Luella) Mrs. Leonard Jacobson of Dows. Also, three grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant child and a brother.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 pm at the Dows Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. The Van Hove Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
