Dows—Funeral services for Earnest Rosvall, 84, who died Wednesday at a Clarion hospital, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Dows, The Rev. Harold McMillin officiating.

Military rites will be at Fairview Cemetery by the Dows American Legion.

Visitation is at Willim Funeral Home, Dows, until noon Saturday.

Survivors include his wife, Lena.

Mr. Rosvall was retired farmer and businessman.

Funeral services for Earnest Rosvall, 84, a retired Dows area farmer and businessman, were held on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from First Lutheran Church in Dows. Rev. Harold McMillin, pastor, officiated at the last rites and military honors were by the Dows American Legion at Fairview Cemetery. The Willim Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Rosvall died on Wednesday evening, January 5, 1977 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion where he had been a patient for the past several days.

Born on November 13, 1892 at Henry, Illinois he was the son of August and Hilda Johnson Rosvall and spent his early years in the area of his birth. As a young man he came to the Wilke area with his family. He served in World War #1 with the Army and after returning from service farmed. On March 4, 1925 he was married to Lena Lentz at Webster City and they farmed in Wright County until moving to Dows in 1940. For a number of years, he operated the DX station in Dows.

Surviving Mr. Rosvall is his wife. There is also a nephew, Ralph Johnson of Winona, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

He was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Watson-Beach Post of the American Legion.
