Michael Aide, 75, Dows, died unexpectedly at his home early Sunday morning. He was a barber. He had worked in Cedar Rapids for many years and came to Dows in 1942.

Born July 17, 1891 at Highland, Wisconsin, he was the son of James and Jane Aide. He married Hilda Rosdal, Nov. 16, 1916 in Cedar Rapids. She preceded him in death Sept. 1963. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brother, Clinton Aide of LeRoy, Minn.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 with the VanHove Funeral Home in Dows in charge.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Dows. Rev. John O. Langehough officiated.
