Richard Leo Reichter passed away in his home Thursday, August 16, 1979 at the age of 69 years.

Richard was born to Asa and Edna Pletcher Reichter on October 24, 1909 in Goldfield, Ia. He attended grade school in a rural school and graduated from Goldfield High. He attended college at Drake University in Des Moines.

Richard was united in marriage to Lois Zinser Nov. 4, 1929 in Goldfield. This union was blessed with four children, two sons, two daughters. They lived on a farm outside of Goldfield. He farmed this until he retired and they moved into town in 1975.

Those who mourn his departure are his mother, Edna Reichter, Eagle Grove; wife, Lois Reichter, Goldfield; two sons: Duane and Neal Reichter, Goldfield; two daughters: Mrs. Robert (Eloise) Richter, Wiota, la.; Mrs. Morse (Beverly) Nelson, Goldfield; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother, Vernen Reichter, Goldfield, one sister, Mrs. Frank (Blanche) Peterson, Houston, Tex.

Preceding his death was his father.
