Margie A. Herrick, 97, of Scottish Rite Park. 2909 Woodland Ave., died of pneumonia Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. The body will be cremated and memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Scottish Rite Park penthouse. Private burial of the cremains will be at Union Cemetery in Humboldt.

Mrs. Herrick was born in Goldfield and had lived in Des Moines since 1926. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, the Des Moines Women's Club, the American Association of University Women, Questors and PEO.

Survivors include two daughters, Margie Henry of Roseville, Minn., and Jane Grothe of Claremont, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Scottish Rite Park or her church. Arrangements are being handled by Dunn's Funeral Home.
