Service March 11 For Mrs. Eliz. Pinkham

Mrs. Elizabeth F. Pinkham, 88, pioneer Goldfield resident, died Sunday at her home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the United Presbyterian church, with Rev. Kay Mills officiating. Interment was in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Pinkham is survived by one son Glenn, one granddaughter and one brother Lafe Hinton of Lake Park.

Mrs. Pinkham was born Nov. 14, 1875 at Livermore and her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Hinton. She was married to Henry Clay Pinkham in 1897. Mr. Pinkham was a Wright County Supervisor for 24 years and he died in 1954.

She was member of the Unite Presbyterian church, the Rebekah lodge and the Goldfield Cemetery Association.

Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth Pinkham was born Nov. 14, 1875; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Hinton of Livermore. She grew to womanhood on the farm of her parents and was educated in the Livermore schools. She acquired advanced education at the Humboldt Normal School. Following graduation, Mrs. Pinkham taught in a rural school for two years.

On Dec. 21, 1897, she was united in marriage to Henry Clay Pinkham. To this union was born two children: daughter Nellie who was deceased as of 1917; and son Glenn of Goldfield. In March, 1898, Mr. and Mrs. Pinkham moved to a farm in the Goldfield area. They farmed until 1914 when Mr. Pinkham was elected supervisor and they moved to Goldfield. Mrs. Pinkham has lived in Goldfield since that time. Mr. Pinkham died in May, 1954.

Mrs. Pinkham was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, the Women's Christian Temperance Union, the Cemetery Association and a lifelong devoted member of the United Presbyterian Church.

Left to mourn their loss are: brother Lafe Hinton of Lake Park; son Glenn of Goldfield, many relatives and a host of friends.

Services for Goldfield Lady

Mrs. Elizabeth F. Pinkham, 88, longtime Goldfield resident, died Sunday at her home. Funeral services were at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Goldfield United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kay Mills as the officiating pastor. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery with the Sandvig Funeral Home, Eagle Grove, in charge.

The former Elizabeth Hinton, Mrs. Pinkham was born and reared at Livermore and married Henry Clay Pinkham in 1897. They resided at Livermore a short time, then moved to Goldfield where Mrs. Pinkham had lived ever since. Her husband, who served as a Wright County supervisor for 24 years, died in 1954. Surviving are one son, Glenn, speech teacher in the Eagle Grove Schools, one grandchild and one brother, Lafe Hinton of Lake Park. Mrs. Pinkham was a member of the United Presbyterian church, and Rebekah Lodge and had served on the Goldfield Cemetery Ass'n Board for many years.
