Services For Mrs. Carrie Johnson
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Johnson, 86, of Des Moines, sister of Harry Anfinson of Clarion, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Foster Funeral home in Webster City. The Rev. Lloyd Bailey, assistant pastor of the Methodist church, officiated and burial was in Norway township cemetery near Kanawha. Mrs. Johnson died Saturday evening at University hospital, Iowa City after a long illness.

The former Carrie Anfinson, was born and reared in Story county. After her marriage to Henry C. Johnson in 1901, they farmed near Cambridge for a few years, then moved to Stratford. Mrs. Johnson had resided in Des Moines for about three years. Her husband preceded her in death. Surviving are two children, Eugene of Webster City and Mrs. Gladys Reigard of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren, and one brother, Harry Anfinson of Clarion.
