Jack Alan Brandrup
July 11, 1948 ---– May 20, 2019

Jack Alan Brandrup, 70, passed away peacefully on May 20th at Providence St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, Oregon. He was born July 11, 1948 in Webster City, Iowa. He then moved to Eagle Grove, Iowa as a young boy and grew up the remainder of his young life in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He went on to graduate with a major in Psychology and Sociology from Minnesota State University in Mankato. Jack then moved to Portland, Oregon where he spent the latter part of his adult life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gale Brandrup, mother, Dorothy Brandrup, sister Judy Jamison and his son Matthew Brandrup. Jack is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judith Newbury Brandrup, his children, Sarah, Bart, Jennifer and Angela, 21 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack had a great passion for golf, loved to watch the Trailblazers, Duck’s football and his Harley Davidson. Above all, he was a loving husband, father and friend. Most importantly, his grandchildren meant the world to him. He loved them dearly and they always made him smile.

Please join us in celebrating his life Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Finley Hills Memorial Park, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy. Portland. Reception following at Rock Creek Country Club, 5100 NW Neakahnie, Portland between 3:30 and 5:00 pm.
