William ‘Bill’ Charles Walk, 52, passed away Monday, July 18, 1994, at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center in Mason City, Iowa.

Bill, the son of Fred and Esther Howlett Walk was born November 28, 1941 in Kanawha, Iowa. He attended school in Kanawha. On December 9, 1959, he was united in marriage with Myrna Goodridge in Mason City, Iowa. They farmed on a farm near Kanawha. Bill liked to fish and enjoyed farming. He also liked spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Myrna, two sons: Kelly and his wife, Jodi of Kanawha; Bill Jr. and his wife, Amy of Kanawha; one daughter: Shelly and her husband, Tom Shellenberg of Wesley; five grandchildren: Shannon Larson, Whitney Shellenberg, Ryan and Justin Walk, and Bret Walk: three step-grandchildren: Zachary, Jordon and Janie; his mother Esther Walk of Kanawha; five sisters: Judy Bohlen and her husband Harold of Prior Lake, MN; Jane Mewes and her husband Jack of Kanawha; Betty Grimm of Kanawha; Diane Omvig and her husband Roger of Kanawha; Donna Cook of Garner; one brother David Walk and his wife Doreen of Kanawha. He was preceded in death by his father.
