GUN WOUND PROVES FATAL

Harold Knight Died in St. Paul Hospital from Accidental Gun Shot Wound.

Harold Knight died in a hospital at St. Paul from the effects of an accidental gunshot wound in his arm. He was attempting to unload the gun. It was an automatic pump gun and in attempting to dislodge a jammed shell, it was discharged and the load entered his arm. He was taken to Webster, Wis., where a doctor bound up the wound as best he could and then immediately left with him in his car for St. Paul, 75 miles away. He took his patient to the Bethesda hospital where he died the same evening.

Obituary
(By Rev. Anderson)

Harold Daniel Knight was born at Goldfield, Iowa, July 21, 1906. He completed his education at Goldfield, where he made many friends among his school mates. A few years ago, he went to Webster, Wis., where he has since made his home.

Harold came to his death by accidentally shooting his hand while removing some shells from a shotgun. Everything possible was done for him but blood poison set in and together with loss of blood it proved fatal at a St. Paul hospital on Thursday morning, August 27, 1925, at the age of 19 years, 1 month and 6 days.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his father, Fred Knight of Goldfield, Iowa; his mother, Mrs. Blodgett of Webster; Wis.; one sister, Mrs. Pearle Robinson of Eagle Grove, Iowa, and one half-brother, Bernard of Webster, Wis., also a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. A. Robinson, in charge of Rev. E. A. Anderson. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
