Irma M. Donly, daughter of Henry and Edith France Donly was born July 24, 1902 in Eagle Grove. On July 2, 1922, she married Ivan Anderson at Eagle Grove. She lived most of her life in Boone and Eagle Grove. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Chicago and Northwestern Women's Club of Eagle Grove, and a member of Royal Neighbors.

Irma M. Anderson, 86, a resident of Ledges Manor in Boone, died at Boone County Hospital on Wednesday, April 28, 1989. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970 and her parents. She is survived by four sons, Delvere and Daryl of Boone; Russell, Winger, Minn.; Ronald of Lincoln, Neb.;,one sister, Ardith Mattice, Fayetteville, Ark.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, at 10 a.m. in the Stark-Welein Funeral Home, in Boone, with the Rev. Mary Green officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove at 11:45 a.m.
