Mrs. Ben J. (Vinnie) Christensen, a retired special-education teacher in the Mason City school system, died Saturday at her home at 241-1/2 E. State. She was 87. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church and burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Eagle Grove. White Shrine and Eastern Star services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Major Memorial Chapel, where visitation is until noon Tuesday. The family requests memorials be given to the Radio Fund of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
