Mrs. Ed Hanson.

Ambjor E. Lien was born on September 26, 1831 in Hollingdal, Norway, she was married to Mr. E. Hanson in 1864. They came to America in 1869 and settled in Clayton County, Iowa. In 1872 they moved to Humboldt where they lived until ten years ago when they moved to Eagle Grove.

She died October 25 having been confined to her bed for over a year. Her daughter, Mrs. Emma Johnson, was very faithful in caring for her aged mother. Besides Mrs. Johnson she leaves of her children, Mr. Neil Hanson of Kanawha and Mrs. G. G. Christopher west of town who, with their father will miss the kind mother and wife. Burial was made Sunday October 27.
