Former Eagle Grove girl is buried here
Mrs. Bernard Hasbrouck, a former Eagle Grove resident, died at her home in Davenport on April 15 following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at the Primm Sullivan Funeral Home at East Moline, Ill. Saturday with the Rev. Thomas Waters officiating. Interment was Saturday afternoon at Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, with the Rev. Owen Wilmot in charge of the service.

Mrs. Hasbrouck is survived by her husband, one son Michael, two grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Mollie Toillion, of Eagle Grove, one sister, Mrs. Irene Costello of Charlotte, and one brother, James Toillion, Sr. of Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Hasbrouck, the former Ruth Lucille Toillion, was born in Eagle Grove Oct. 27, [1919] to parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Toillion. She received her education in the Eagle Grove schools and graduated from Eagle Grove high school with the class of 1938. Cm August 25, 1940 she was united in marriage to Bernard Hasbrouck and they became the parents of one son, Michael Merrill.

For many years she was employed in the I.B.M. department at the Rock Island, Ill. arsenal until failing health caused her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her father.
