Mary M. Pohlman was born September 5, 1893, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. On February 22, 1911, she was united in marriage to George O. Olson and of this union two children were born: Cecil Donald, age six years, and Arvilla Mary, age four years.

Mrs. Olson died October 18, 1918, after an attack of influenza followed by pneumonia. At the time of her death she was twenty-five years, one month and thirteen days old.

She is survived by her husband and two children; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pohlman; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Thorn and Miss Tillie Pohlman, both of Eagle Grove, and four brothers, Edward, Roy, Elmer, and Floyd, all of Eagle Grove.

Funeral services were held at the home of her parents Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were in charge of Rev. Charles H. Seward of the Methodist church. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
