Services Held for Dewey Corwin

Services for Dewey Corwin were held January 10 at the Eyler Funeral chapel. Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery in Clarion.

Pallbearers were Dr. Earl Sizemore, Howard Whitman, Jerry Carroll, Wendell Gardner, Frank Strever and Oscar Rice.

Dewey Orville Corwin, son of Ernest and Minnie (Mary) Knight Corwin was born on a farm 3-1/2 miles south west of Clarion May 5, 1896.

Most of Dewey's life was spent in or around Clarion with a short time at Hanlontown and Popejoy.

Dewey passed away at Mercy Hospital Fort Dodge, Iowa, January 7, 1972. He was preceded in death by his parents,
three brothers and two sisters.

Left to mourn his passing are a sister-in-law, Mrs. Nina Corwin of Grand Junction, Iowa, and two brothers-in-law,
Clarence Guild of Austin, Minn. and Herman Heiden of Clarion, nieces, nephews and friends.
