Regina (Olson) Warren
18 August 1845 --- 24 April 1917

Regina Olson, the daughter of Knut F. Olson, was born in Stavanger, Norway, August 18, 1845 and died at her home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, April 24, 1917 at the age of 71 years, 8 months, and six days. In 1850 she came to this country with her parents and settled in LaSalle County, Illinois. She was married in Leland, Illinois March 10, 1870, to Halvor H. Warren who preceded her in death on November 6, 1914. To this union were born eight children, five of whom are living; Charles, Henry and Hanna, of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Enoch, of Cabery, Illinois and Anna, of Wabasha, Minn. They moved in 1873 to Iowa, living first in Polk and Story Counties and, later in 1883 moving to Wright
County and in 1900 to Eagle Grove, where she resided until her death. Besides her five children she is survived by two of Mr. Warren's sons by a former marriage, Mathias of Bakersfield, California, and Burton of Chicago, Illinois. Also by three brothers, O. K. Olson of Des Moines, Andrew Olson of Cambridge, Iowa and Martin Olson of Leland, Illinois.

Funeral services were held from the United Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove, and burial was in the cemetery at Goldfield in the family lot.

The out-of-town relatives at the funeral were Anna Warren of Wabasha, Minn., O. K. Olson and wife and Rev. N.S. Peterson of Des Moines, Andrew Olson of Cambridge, Iowa, Dan Knudson of Ellsworth, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hanskamp and Eli Jensen of Duncombe, Iowa, Rachel Johnson, Slater.
