McCutcheon on Feb. 16, 1932, at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 2 days. He was the oldest child of Joseph and Anna Martin and is survived by his two sisters, Mrs. May Hand and Mrs. Nellie Stremme of Wichita, Kan.

On Feb. 16, 57 years ago, he was united in marriage to Mahala Pearson, settling on a farm near his birth place. To this union nine children were born. Mother preceded father in death 22 years ago. In early manhood. Father Martin united with the Christian church at Flanagan, Ill., to which brotherhood he remained a loyal member to the time of his death.

Forty years ago he moved his family to Sumner county, Kan., transferring his membership to the Wellington church. After a residence of five years they moved to a farm home near Goldfield. Without a church home, he, with his faithful companion and other members, sought ways and means that culminated in the erection of this church, a spiritual blessing his later life. Father Martin answered the Divine call surrounded by all the children except Ethel who was unable to be present.

People who attended the funeral service from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. Myrl Martin of Chicago.
