Murl B. Richardson
30 September 1887 ----- 7 December 1980

Murl B. Richardson, 93, who was born Sept. 30, 1887, in Renwick, Iowa to Austin Barton Richardson, and Candace Abigail Parr, died Sunday at the North Care Center in Humboldt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dessa L. Southwith [Southwick] whom he married in Oct. 1, 1908. Richardson was a hardware merchant for 65 years in Renwick. He graduated from the Renwick schools in 1905.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Leola) Nissen of Renwick, and Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) McGowan of Renwick; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral is being held today, Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the Renwick Baptist Church with the Rev. Theodore Weidman officiating. Burial will be at the Glenwood cemetery at Goldfield with the Blake Funeral Home of Renwick officiating.
