WOMAN DIES NEAR GOLDFIELD
Services Will Be Held Thursday for Mrs. McCutcheon
GOLDFIELD — Mrs. John McCutcheon, 50, died at her home, four miles northeast of here, early Tuesday morning. She is survived by her husband, several brothers and sisters and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at the Kubitschek and Kastler funeral home at Eagle Grove at 2:30 p.m., Thursday. Burial will be made in the family lot at Glenwood cemetery.

Goldfield SectionMrs. John H. McCutcheon died at her farm home Monday evening following a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband, three sisters, seven brothers and many relatives and friends in the Thrall community.
Funeral service will be held this afternoon at the Kubitschek & Kastler funeral home in Eagle Grove at 2:30 o’clock.

Mrs. McCutcheon (Hattie Kelling) was born and raised in this community where she spent the greater part of her life.
Funeral services will be held at the Kubitschek & Kastler Funeral Home in Eagle Grove at 2:30 p. m. today (Thursday). The complete obituary will be published next week.

Obituary of Mrs. Hattie McCutcheonHattie McCutcheon was born to George and Mary Kelling, March 11, 1890 at Goldfield, Iowa, an died at her home January 30, 1940, following a serious illness of several months.
She spent her girlhood in this vicinity and entered Goldfield High School in 1905.
On May 6, 1915, she married John McCutcheon and the young couple lived near Dexter, Minn., for two years, from which place they went to Jamestown, North Dakota. After living there for 21 years, they came to Goldfield in the fall of 1937.
Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss seven brothers and three sisters: Henry and Ella Kelling of Ledyard, Iowa; Al of Spokane, Washington.; Ed and Art of Goldfield; Walt of Clarion; George of Killdeer, N. D.; Oliver of Goldfield, Eliza Aldrich of Marshalltown, and Maud Knight of Goldfield. She was preceded in death by Mrs. Dan Stephens of Goldfield and John Kelling of Max, N. D.
In her home Hattie manifested a devotion which brought true happiness to her loved ones. She was a loyal friend and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her life has been an inspiration to many.
