March 20, 1953 ---- December 5, 2019

Lyle Passmore, age 66, of Minnesota Lake, Minnesota died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, from complications of heart disease. A celebration of life for Lyle will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 starting at 2:00 pm at The Great Escape in Minnesota Lake, serving a light meal at 4:00 pm.

Lyle Ross Passmore was born March 20, 1953 in Belmond, Iowa, the son of Walter Russell and Velma Fern (Woomer) Passmore. Lyle attended K-12 in Britt, IA and graduated from Britt High School in 1971. He moved to St. Peter, MN and worked at the St. Peter and LeSueur Creameries. On September 10, 1971, he was united in marriage to Diane Kronemann in Britt, Iowa. The couple moved to Minnesota Lake in 1974. Lyle drove semi for 40 years for Nordaas American Homes, Sanborn Mfg-Springfield, Ruan and Continental Carbonics. He was a member of the Wells Gun Club and NRA. He loved spending time with his family, sitting in his hot-tub, traveling and watching nature and football, especially the Vikings!

He is survived by his wife Diane of Minnesota Lake; 4 children: Paul (wife Candi Marble) and their daughter Ashley, of Las Vegas, NV; Shawn (wife Kerry Bueckers) of Elko, MN and their children: Gabriella, Alexander, Aiyana, Dylan, Brynn and Ryker; Rachel (husband Patrick Melvin) and their daughters Amaya and Kaelyn of Belle Plaine, MN; Scott (wife Claudia Cahoon) and their sons Kyle, Jeremiah, Jonah and Kristopher, all of Sauk Rapids, MN; 1 brother: Charles (wife Irene) Passmore of Rialto, CA; 1 sister: Ann Kerley of Batavia, IL. Lyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and brother Gary Passmore.
