Richard Grant Perkins Died July 31st
Little Richard Grant Perkins was born to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Perkins June 16, 1927, and passed to the Heavenly Father's care July 31, 1927, having only lived one month and sixteen days. The little life went out very suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday morning, just at the breakfast hour, before the doctor could be summoned. He leaves to mourn his loss his father and mother and one brother, Wallace John, of Eagle Grove, and many other relatives.

The Golden Gates were open,
And Heavenly Angles smiled,
And with their tuneful harps strings
Welcomed the little child.
On earth they missed the little one.
They sighed and wept and sighed.
And wondered if another such
As theirs had ever died.
Oh had they seen through those high gates
The welcome to him given.
They never would have wished their child
Back from his home in Heaven Selected.

Funeral services were held from the home Tuesday, 2:00 p. m. conducted by Rev. E. A. Anderson of the Baptist church. Interment was made in the Rose hlll cemetery.
