Margaret Clara Crovisier was born January 16, 1914, in Dayton Township near Florence. She was the daughter of Charles J. and Mary Kastler Crovisier who resided near Eagle Grove. She attended a rural school in Troy Township and graduated from Eagle Grove High School.

On February 22, 1938, she was married to Harvey Horton. They farmed in the Eagle Grove and Duncombe areas until they moved to Osakis, Minn. in 1956.

Margaret Horton died of a heart attack, June 9, 1988 at the Alexandria Hospital, Alexandria, Minn., at the age of 74.

She is survived by six children, Mrs. Darrell (Beverly) Miller, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Mrs. Dennis (Wilma) Jensen, Blaine, Minn.; Harvey M. of Anoka, Minn.; Larry of Sauk Centre, Minn.; John, Osakis, Minn.; and Charles, Springfield, Ill.

Funeral services were held June 13 at 1 p.m. at the Roy Hetland Funeral Home Chapel in Osakis, Minn., with the Rev. Dean Nosek officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
