Death Followed Birth of Baby by Few Hours. Baby Also DeadMrs. Frank Peach died at her home in this city Monday, Sept. 17th. Her death was preceded by that of her baby, who was buried Monday in accordance with her request.
The sudden death of Mrs. Peach was a shock to the entire community, who extend the bereaved husband, Engineer Frank Peach, and the parents and relatives, their most sincere sympathy. The funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at the J. J. Wilcox home on South Park avenue.
Obituary
Grace Wilcox was born in Hamilton county, Iowa, Sept. 23, 1884, and departed this life, Sept. 17, 1923, at the age of 38 years, 11 months and 25 days. Grace was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Wilcox. She graduated from the Eagle Grove high school in 1904. On Feb. 8, 1905, she was united in marriage with Mr. Frank Peach. To this union has been born two children, both having preceded her in death in infancy, the first one about eight years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, a father and mother, two sisters, Mrs. Vada Meade and Ethel, both of Eagle Grove, two brothers, Raymond, of Goldfield, Ia., and Howard, Eagle Grove, besides other relatives and a host of friends.At the age of twelve she confessed her faith in Christ and was baptized and united with the Baptist church. She was a member of the following fraternal organizations: L. A. to B. of L. F. and E., Mystic Workers of the World, Woodmen Circle and Rebekah Lodge, holding office and taking prominent part in them.
Funeral services will be held at the home at 1:30 today (Thursday) in charge of Rev. B. A. Anderson. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
