1 August 1866 --- 8 September 1944Mrs. F. Parkhurst Dies In Long Beach
Mrs. Frank Parkhurst, 78, died Sept. 8 in a Long Beach, Calif, hospital. Mrs. Parkhurst, a former resident of this city, had made her home in Long Beach the past few years to be near her two children, Mrs. Roxie Erickson and Leonard N. Parkhurst at Trona, Calif. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 11 in the chapel of a mortuary in Long Beach in charge of the Rev. Perry G. Austin, of St. Lukes Episcopal church. The remains were cremated and the ashes will be shipped to Eagle Grove for burial in the family lot. There will be no services held here.Mrs. Parkhurst is survived by her daughter and son, two grandsons and four great grandchildren. Mr. Parkhurst, a former C. & N. W. engineer died here in 1915.
