Former Trainmaster to be buried here this afternoon at 1:30
J. M. Pattison died at Des Moines Tuesday afternoon after a two months serious illness. Heart trouble was the immediate cause of his death. The remains will be brought to Eagle Grove and taken to the Foll & Wilson undertaking chapel, where they may be seen by his former friends. There will be no service here and at 1:30 this afternoon the funeral procession will leave the undertaking chapel for the cemetery.
Mr. Pattison was 65 years of age and is survived by his wife, his daughter, Eugenia, a teacher in the Des Moines schools, and his son Lee of Chicago. The surviving relatives have the sympathy of their many friends in the hour of their great sorrow.
Mr. Pattison for years was chief train dispatcher for the Northwestern here and was later promoted to trainmaster. After moving to Des Moines about fifteen years ago he became trainmaster of the Great Western. Later he resigned this position and became associated with the Royal Life Insurance Co.

SERVICES HELD TODAY FOR J. M. PATTISON
Funeral services for J. M. Pattison, 65 years old, who died yesterday afternoon at his home, 1066 Thirty-fifth street, after two months' illness caused by heart trouble, was held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at Dunn's. Burial will be at Eagle Grove, Ia., tomorrow. Mr. Pattison. who lived in this city eighteen years, had been with the Royal Union Life Insurance company for several years. Besides his widow he is survived by a daughter. Eugenia Pattison of this city, and a son, Lee Pattison, of Chicago.Des Moines Tribune --- Des Moines, Iowa
