ARLINE NELSON DIES IN DES MOINES

Arline Nelson, 6 years of age, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nelson, died at Des Moines last Sunday. Death was caused by a severe attack of diphtheria. Arline was a very pretty, lovable little girl and her loss is almost unbearable. She is a granddaughter of Mrs. Henry Broeffle. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.

Obituary of Arline Elizabeth Nelson by Rev. Severtson

Arline Elizabeth, child of Frank and Martha Nelson, was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, Jan. 18th, 1919, was baptized into Christ May 25, 1919, and died at her home in Des Moines, Iowa, May 17th, 1925, aged 6 years, 3 months and 29 days. She is survived by her parents, one brother, Raymond, and one sister, Dorothy.

She was a pupil of the Brooks school, and a member of the junior class of Galilee Baptist church. Arline was a sweet, quiet child and will be very much missed by all her little friends, but most of all by the parents. Now she is with her Saviour to draw the minds of all who knew her after her.

The remains were brought to Eagle Grove for burial Saturday. Rev. Severtson spoke a few words of comfort to the sorrowing parents at the grave and committed the body to the safekeeping of mother earth unto Resurrection morn.
