September 10, 1909 --- September 19, 1924

Goldfield

Mrs. Grant Trask of near Eagle Grove came nearly every afternoon to see Ruth Hanson, who was ill for several weeks.

***

Ruth Hanson, who has been sick for many weeks, died at her home on North Main street Friday night. Her condition became alarmingly worse Thursday night when she was having convulsions and a doctor was in attendance most of the night. Relatives were called on the phone Friday. Ruth Hanson was the only daughter of Mrs. Jessie Hanson. She was a good girl, a good student, a member of the M. E. church, and when in good health was an active worker in the Sunday School. The many friends deeply sympathize with Mrs. Hanson. All friends were kind and helpful.

Interment was in the cemetery here, Rev. A. E. Buriff officiating at the funeral. The pain-racked body is at rest, the tired spirit freed from sorrows.
