George Agard Taken By Death

George Agard who has been confined to his home for several months passed away on Sunday evening. Services were held Wednesday at 2:30 at the Methodist church. Rev. F. M. Shultz officiated.

George Agard was born in Goldfield November 6, 1881 and died in Goldfield January 11, 1948, at the age of 66 years. He was the son of Clarence and Amy Agard.

On August 28, 1912, he was united in marriage to Sadie Matheson to which union two daughters were born, Mrs. Marian A. Bjork of Des Moines and Mrs. Lillian Gustafson of Santa Cruz, Calif. He has two grandsons, Rodney and Gary Gustafson, one brother Claude Agard of Webster City.

Geo. Agard Died Here Sunday After Long Illness

George Agard, 66, life long resident of Goldfield, passed away at his home here Sunday evening. Mr. Agard had been ill for several years.

Mr. Agard, who worked as a butcher and meat cutter for many years, suffered a stroke sometime ago and has been confined to his home in recent months.

The deceased is survived by his widow and two children, Mrs. Gene Bjork of Des Moines, and Mrs. Glenn Gustafson of Santa Cruz, California.

Funeral services were held from the Goldfield Methodist church yesterday afternoon with the Rev. Fred M. Shultz officiating. Burial was at Glenwood cemetery here.
