Mrs. Ina Cleveland Funeral Wednesday

Mrs. Ina Arlene Cleveland, 83, died at her home in Goldfield Sunday. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with Rev. T. M. Walton officiating and burial at the Glenwood cemetery.

Born at Evansville, Wis., she resided at Goldfield for 64 years. Her husband, Charles, died in 1938.

Mrs. Cleveland is survived by three children, Sidney of San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. Ruth Lyons of Goldfield and Mrs. Margie Niles of Columbia, Mo., nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Obituary

Ina Arlene Williams Crall Cleveland, the daughter of Eugene and Ellen Williams, was born Oct. 1, 1879 at Evansville, Wis., and died at her home in Goldfield on Sunday, June 23, at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 22 days.

At the age of two she lost her mother and went to live with her grandparents. Two years later, on July 3, 1883, she was adopted by John and Hester Crall of Center, Wis. Mrs. Crall had been a dear friend of her mother. She made her home with them until her marriage to Charles Sidney Cleveland at Center, Wis., on Oct. 1, 1896.

The young couple made their home on a farm northeast of Holmes until May 4, 1899 when they moved to Goldfield where she lived the remainder of her life.

Four children were born to this union: Ralph, Sidney, Ruth and Margie.

Since 1900, she was a member of the Goldfield Baptist church. Upon its disbandment, she attended the First Christian Church of Goldfield. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge, the W.C.T.U. and the Goldfield Cemetery Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband on April 14, 1938 and her son Ralph on Dec. 9, 1962.

She is survived by three children: Lt. Col. Sid Cleveland (US AF) of San Bernardino, Calif.; (Ruth) Mrs. Homer Lyons of Goldfield and (Margie) Mrs. James Niles of Columbia, Mo.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandsons.

She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother and a thoughtful helpful neighbor and friend who will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

At 10 a m on Wednesday June 26, the Rebekah Lodge memorial service for Mrs Cleveland took place. Funeral services were held at 2 00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Goldfield with Rev. T. M. Walton officiating. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery of Goldfield.
