Roscoe Samuels Funeral Today

Roscoe Samuels, 87, died at his home here Tuesday morning and funeral services will be this (Thursday) afternoon at the Sandvig Funeral Home in Eagle Grove at 2 o'clock.

Rev. Kay Mills will officiate and interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Samuels is survived by his wife Marian, two sons, Samuel and Glenn of Lynnwood, Calif. Other survivors are 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Warren Besore of Orion, Ill.

Mr. Samuels was born April 3, 1875 in Dixon, Ill. He came to Goldfield when he was 21 years of age and farmed in this area until about 10 years ago when he moved to town.
