Hazel Heck
December 12, 1886 --- March 20, 1888

Died, on Tuesday, at 11 a.m., little Hazel, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heck, aged 17 months. Little Hazel had only been sick about a week while teething, and inflammation of the bowels seized the little sufferer and snapped the tender life cord. The funeral services were held at the residence on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Elliott conducting them, and the little one laid tenderly away in the Hewett cemetery. The heartfelt sympathy of the entire community go out to the stricken parents in this, their deep affliction.
