Clifford Dean Wood Dies on Sunday
Clifford Dean Wood, aged five years and two days, died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Matt Sadler, Sunday evening. Summer flu was the cause of the little fellow's death.

Little Clifford Dean Wood was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Wood of Eagle Grove on Sept. 11, 1926, and died Sept. 13, 1931, at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Julia Culmer. At the time of his death he was only five years and two days old, but during his stay in this world he brought Joy and sunshine to those who loved him and going he leaves sorrow in their hearts, but makes a tie between them and the heavenly home to which he has
gone.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Sadler, his father, Ed. Wood, his grandmother, Mrs. Julia Culmer, a little half-brother, Richard Lysle Sadler, ten uncles, two aunts and many other relatives.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church on Wednesday afternoon. The sermon was preached by Rev. W. O. Muhleman. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
