MARJORIE SCHIPULL

Marjorie Wiser was born on August 27, 1923, the daughter of Henry and Elsie Keith Wiser, at Goldfield, Iowa. She received her education in the Goldfield School System and graduated from Goldfield High School in 1940. She lived in Minneapolis, Minn, and later Tucson, Ariz. prior to moving back to Goldfield. She was united in marriage to Loren Schipull on August 30, 1945, at her parents’ home in Goldfield. The couple farmed north of Goldfield until moving to Eagle Grove following their retirement in 1988. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove, the United Methodist Women, and the Thursday Morning Bible Study Class, as well as the Renwick Cosmopolitan Club where she was a charter member.

Marjorie Schipull died at the Clarion Community, Memorial Hospital on December 3, 1995. She had attained the age of 72 years, 3 months and 6 days.

Survivors include her husband, Loren Schipull, Eagle Grove; daughters, Laurel Wirtz and husband Dick, Elkton, Maryland, and Beth Sparks and husband Dan, Omaha, Nebraska; sons, Jim Schipull and wife Ann of Goldfield, and Norman Schipull and wife Luz, Santiago, Chile; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Betty Axon, Goldfield; brothers, Keith Wiser, Greer, S. C., and Bill Wiser, Torrance, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant granddaughters and two sisters, Jean Severson and Iris Atkinson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 1995, at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove. The Reverend Omar Pettersen will officiate the 1:30 p.m. service. Private family burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield, at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 1995.

Visitation will be Friday, December 8, 1995, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove.

The Willim Funeral Home, Ltd., Eagle Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
