Mrs. Wm. Thomason Dies At Age Of 89
Mrs. William A. Thomason, 89, died Thursday morning Oct. 13th at her farm home east of Eagle Grove following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Thomason's husband died in May and had they lived until December, they would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Dec. 18th.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Kastler Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Roy Cox. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Thomason is survived by six children: Mrs. Ed Pool, Mrs. Ruth Newcomb, Wlllard Thomason, Wayne Thomason of Eagle Grove, Grove; Hazel Thompson of Belmond and Leonard Thomason of Des Moines. Other survivors are 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna King and Mrs. Mayme Taylor of Kansas City, Mo.
