Funeral services for Mrs. Aletta Thomason, of Mankato, Minn., will be held here this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kastler Funeral Home. Rev. Kenneth Torvik will be in charge and burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Thomason was born April 28, 1893 to Thor and Gunhild Aarthun at Aakre, Sundhordland, Norway and died Monday, June 25 in Mankato, Minn., after a long illness.

In 1919 she was married to Ole Thomason and with their two daughters Gunhild and Marie came to the United States in 1923 and they lived in the Clarion-Kanawha area until 1938 when they moved to Mankato.

Besides her two daughters she is also survived by 3 brothers, Christopher Arthur of Minneapolis, Andew and Tom Arthur of Eagle Grove, one brother and 3 sisters in Norway.
