Curtis Robert Schaumburg was born on July 27, 1965, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion, Iowa, the son of LeRoy A. and Barbara Jean Bell Schaumburg. He was raised and educated in Clarion, graduating from Clarion High School in 1983 and then graduated from Iowa Central Community College, Auto Mechanics, in 1985. He worked as an auto mechanic at several places and
was presently employed by ManPower at Frigidaire in Webster City, Iowa. He was a member of the
St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Woolstock, Iowa.

Curtis R. Schaumburg died Thursday, September 23, 1999 at the Hamilton County Hospital in Webster City, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, at the age of 34.

He is survived by his parents, LeRoy and Barbara Schaumburg, Clarion; one brother, Randall and
wife, Ashlea, Fort Dodge, Iowa; two sisters, Rhonda Draeger, Clarion, and LeAnn Johnson and husband, Keith, Woolstock; and six nieces, Danielle Schaumburg, Angela Draeger, Megan Draeger, Samantha Johnson, Alexandra Johnson, and Randi Jo Schaumburg. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and a brother-in-law,
David Draeger.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 27, 1999, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Woolstock with Reverend William VanNostrand officiating. Burial was held in the Rose Hill
Cemetery in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Willim Funeral Home of Clarion was in charge of arrangements.

CLARION - Curtis Robert Schaumburg, 34, of Clarion, died Thursday (Sept. 23, 1999) at the Hamilton County Hospital, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, in Woolstock, with the Rev. William VanNostrand officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, in Eagle Grove. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Willim Funeral Home, in Eagle Grove.
