H. LINEWEAVER FUNERAL RITES HELD MONDAY

Death Occurred Friday In A Hospital at Savannah, Mo. Where He Was Taking Treatments.

Harry Peter Lineweaver, son of Adam and Emma Lineweaver, was born April 2, 1877 in Lisbon, Iowa and passed away on October 27, 1944 in Savannah, Missouri at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 25 days. The early years of his life were spent in Lisbon where he studied telegraphy and worked as an operator until 1906 when he came to Eagle Grove and entered the train service as a brakeman with the Chicago & North Western Railway. He was promoted to conductor, Sept. 15, 1912.

He was united in marriage to Myrtle M. Swanger of Mechanicsville, Iowa on July 4, 1907. With the exception of brief periods, Mr. and Mrs. Lineweaver have spent the succeeding years in Eagle Grove. He was a conductor at the time of his retirement on June 1, 1942 and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.

He was preceeded in death by a daughter, Lucille Lineweaver Fox. His wife survives him. Also two sisters, Mrs. Anna R. Booth of Kalispell, Montana and Mrs. A. V. Bradd of Lisbon, Iowa; and several nephews and nieces.

Mr. Lineweaver passed away very suddenly of a heart ailment in a hospital in Savannah. Missouri where he was undergoing treatment for a grave illness.

The services were conducted by Rev. Loyal M. Wilkinson in the Wilson Funeral Chapel and the interment was at Rose Hill cemetery.
