March 14, 1947 --- October 2, 2019

Michael F. King, 72, Goldfield

Michael F. King of Peoria, AZ went to be with his Lord on October 2, 2019. He was born March 14, 1947, the second of three children born to Keith and Doris Pletcher King of Clarion. Mickey, as he was known, lived in Goldfield before moving to Arizona in 2009 to be near his sister, Karen Kae. Mickey went to Dayton #2 country school through grade 6. He graduated from Clarion High School. He worked nights at the Goldfield Creamery for 8 years. He was a member of the Goldfield Church of Christ.

One of the highlights of his life was fishing trips with his brother, Tom and friends in Canada. He outfished the others and had his big fish mounted and hung on his wall. He invited everyone he knew to come see his fish. His other passion and joy was his red pick-up.

Michael is survived by his sister, Karen Kae Meyer, of Sun City, AZ; his brother Tom King and his wife Peggy, of Goldfield; nieces Melinda Kurth of Goldfield and Kelly King of Ft. Dodge; and a nephew, David J. Meyer of Golden Valley, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law, Gary Meyer, and a nephew, Stephen C. Meyer.

Burial will be in the Goldfield Cemetery and a memorial will be held at a later date in 2020.
